Today, a responsible approach to printing also has an ENVIRONMENTAL dimension.

Office printing is no longer just a matter of equipment and cost per page. More and more companies are now also addressing how to reduce waste, use materials more efficiently, and make their operations more environmentally friendly.

One way to do this is through cartridge refurbishment. This extends the life cycle of used materials and helps reduce unnecessary environmental impact. In addition to economic benefits, it also contributes to responsible business practices.

The choice of printing technology itself also plays a significant role. For example, Epson inkjet printers with Heat Free technology have lower power consumption and thus lower energy usage, as they do not require heating during printing.

The benefit, however, is not limited to energy savings. Inkjet printers also do not contain certain components common in laser devices, such as drums, transfer belts, or fuses, which typically require regular replacement. The result can be simpler operation and fewer disruptions to normal office workflow.

Today, sustainability in printing is therefore not just about recycling. It is also about making the right decisions, choosing the appropriate technology, and implementing well-designed processes that help companies reduce energy consumption, minimize unnecessary waste, and keep operations efficient and reliable.

And this is precisely the approach we at Z + M Group can offer companies.
