Multi-factor authentication

MFA does not necessarily mean another app, another token and further complications for users.

When implementing multi-factor authentication, organisations often worry that they will have to change their existing infrastructure, replace the systems they use or introduce the same authentication method for all employees.

In reality, MFA can be set up much more flexibly.

An administrator may use one method of authentication, whilst an office-based employee, a production worker or an external contractor connecting remotely may use a different one.

A modern solution can build on the technologies your organisation already uses and integrate, for example:

• mobile authentication, smart cards, tokens or biometric verification
• logging into workstations, VPNs and corporate applications
• Active Directory and digital identity management
• Single Sign-On for easier user access
• management of internal, qualified and server certificates
• audit trails, reporting and an overview of authentication methods

The aim is not to add yet another isolated security tool.
