In a well-organised process, the method of invoice delivery should not be a major issue.

Companies today receive invoices via various channels.

In some places, PDFs are still sent by email.

In some places, paper documents are digitised.

And increasingly, structured data is received in the form of e-invoices and, in some EEA countries, via the Peppol network.

At Z + M Group, we have long been involved in the receipt and processing of invoices and the data they contain for clients in the Czech Republic and abroad.

And it is precisely thanks to our international projects that we also have experience with the exchange of invoicing data via the Peppol network and its integration into downstream processes.

For us, Peppol is simply another modern input channel.

The principle, however, remains the same:

We need to reliably receive the invoice, extract the correct data from it and pass it on to the process used by the company.

With a structured e-invoice, we receive the data directly.

With a PDF, we have to extract it automatically.

We have to digitise a paper document.

However, this should not result in three separate worlds.

The result should be unified and accurate data, ready for verification, approval, management reporting and further automation.
